Skid Steer Training — 2 Days Theory, 3 Days Practical

Our skid steer operator course is a QCTO-registered programme. Days 1–2 cover classroom theory (safety, machine systems, attachments). Days 3–5 are spent operating actual skid steer loaders on site under expert supervision in small groups.

  • Pre-Operation Inspection: Daily checks, fluid levels, tire pressure, safety systems
  • Safe Operation: Stability, rollover prevention, zero-turn maneuvering
  • Bucket & Attachment Control: Loading, dumping, grading and trenching
  • Material Handling: Pallet forks, augers, sweepers and grapples
  • Tight-Space Work: Warehouses, residential sites and landscaping
  • Digging & Backfilling: Foundations, trenches and site preparation
  • Grading & Leveling: Driveways, yards and final surfaces
  • Daily Maintenance: Greasing, cleaning and basic troubleshooting
  • Site Safety: OHS Act compliance and exclusion zones

Daily Schedule

08:00–16:00 Monday to Friday at both campuses. Full machine time from Day 3. 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio.
