South Africa's road construction, mining, and civil engineering sectors demand skilled, certified grader operators. At Real Skills Technical FET, our grader training provides you with the QCTO-registered Occupational Certificate, hands-on machine experience, and direct pathways to employment — all within an intensive 5-day course for just R5,000.
Grader Training — 2 Days Theory, 3 Days Practical
Our grader operator course is a QCTO-registered Occupational Certificate programme delivered over five consecutive working days. The first two days cover classroom theory including safety protocols, machine systems, blade mechanics, and grading techniques. Days three through five are spent operating real motor graders on site under direct supervision from our certified, industry-experienced instructors.
Grader training at Real Skills emphasizes real-world application. You work on actual motor graders from day three — the same equipment used in road construction and mining operations. Our strict 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio ensures maximum machine time and personalized coaching throughout the practical phase.
