Dangerous Goods Training School
Legally mandated 3-day dangerous goods by road training for Code 14 drivers. After training you receive a competency certificate and dangerous goods license. Aligned to SAQA Unit Standard 123259.
Dangerous goods training (Hazchem) is the compulsory qualification for any driver transporting hazardous materials by road in South Africa. Our 3-day course is aligned to SAQA Unit Standard 123259 and covers classification, documentation, vehicle markings, emergency response, and legal compliance. Upon successful completion, you receive a dangerous goods competency certificate and the official dangerous goods license (PrDP endorsement) – essential for employment in logistics, fuel, chemical, and mining transport.
Strict prerequisites: Code 14, age 25+, ID/passport
You must hold a valid Code 14 (EC) driver's license and be 25 years or older. Bring your ID or valid passport on day 1. No exceptions – this is a legal requirement for dangerous goods endorsement.
About the Dangerous Goods Course (SAQA 123259)
Our 3-day programme is registered and aligned to the National Qualifications Framework. It covers both theoretical knowledge and practical application for transporting Class 1–9 dangerous goods. You'll learn to identify hazards, complete dangerous goods documentation, apply emergency response procedures, and ensure vehicle compliance.
